** Building Notice **

Exterior Window Cleaning Exterior window & balcony railing cleaning is underway! Cleaning for all units facing Grand Avenue was finalized today 4/30. The maintenance team will return Monday, May 3, and begin cleaning all South windows (facing Evo) and proceed clockwise each day from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. Window cleaning will be wrapping up the week of May 14. Please note that the completion date is an approximate time and may change due to unforeseen circumstances.Residents will be notified via email and schedules will be posted in the residential bulletin boards.

Resident Emergency Procedures Training & Annual Fire DrillSAVE THE DATE!! Do you know what to do in case of earthquake, fire, power outage, bomb threat and medical emergency? Attend the Emergency Procedures Training to find out. Training will be held on Tuesday, May 18 at 6:00 PM. If you are interested in attending, please email me directly at ahuerta@actionlife.com and I will provide further details.

Face Coverings REMINDER! ALL residents, guests, vendors, and invitees are required to practice social distancing in the Common Areas at all times, to the extent feasible; and residents, guests, vendors, and all other individuals must wear face coverings at all times when in the Common Areas of the Project, including hallways, stairways, elevators, etc. Residents will be responsible for their guest/vendor’s adherence to these rules. Please review the attached guidelines for full details.

Construction Projects in the Building – We have several submittals for in unit construction throughout the building. You may hear noise related to these activities for the next few weeks. Construction is permitted Monday through Friday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Note: Construction is not permitted on weekends and holidays. If you hear construction related noises outside of these hours and days, please contact the front desk staff.

**Social Committee Events**

D.A.D. is Back! Dining Around Downtown Club will be visiting Le Petit Paris on Wednesday, May 19 at 7:30 PM. Please see attached flyer for additional information and RSVP instructions.

Elleven Lending Library Management has received a few books for the lending library, and the bookcase has been placed just outside of the garage lobby doors for everyone to enjoy. The hope is that this Little Free Library will bring a little bit of joy, and new connections with your neighbors. If you are interested in donating books, please contact management to arrange a drop off time. We hope you can join the movement and share some books with your community.

FREE DVD Rentals for Elleven – Virginia Wexman has so graciously offered to loan DVDs to Elleven residents! Attached you will find a list of available DVDs. If any of these spark your interest, please contact Virginia Wexman at vwexman@uic.edu to place your request, she will then drop-off said DVD at the front desk for you to collect.

** Community Alerts **

The South Park Neighborhood Committee Newsletter Due to recent events, a group of highly motivated residents in the South Park District have come together to form a Neighborhood Committee. The committee is in its early stages and hopes to engage all South Park residents to identify pressing concerns and to preserve and enhance South Park living. The group consists of residents and management from four of South Park’s residential buildings, Elleven, Evo, Luma, and Ten50 totaling almost 900 units. Their mission is “to seek to utilize a united voice that has strength and influence for the mutual benefit of the South Park homeowners and residents.” They look forward to publishing a monthly newsletter; The April Edition of the South Park Neighborhood Committee Newsletter is attached.

SPBID Outdoor Live Music Series – SPBID will be hosting a series of casual outdoor performances every Friday from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at South Park Commons. All of the music will be low-key and family-friendly and will be shutting down long before bedtime. Social distancing will be expected and enforced by South Park BID. Food Trucks – The food trucks continue outside of Evo, every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The food trucks will only be accepting online orders for pickup through the link provided and will not be accepting walkups. This will help prevent large crowds.
