** Building Notice **

Please note that the Management and Maintenance offices will be closed Monday, July 5^th in observance of Independence Day.

Tree Trimming – The guava trees on the 4th Floor will be trimmed on Tuesday, July 6 at approximately 9:00 am. We ask that all residents please stay clear of the areas that are actively being trimmed.

Food Delivery Update! –  The front desk staff has resumed sending food deliveries to the unit. As before, staff will call before sending deliveries to the residential floor. If you would like your deliveries sent to your unit without a phone call, be sure to update your guest list.

Construction Projects in the Building – We have several submittals for in unit construction throughout the building. You may hear noise related to these activities for the next few weeks. Construction is permitted Monday through Friday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Note: Construction is not permitted on weekends and holidays. If you hear construction related noises outside of these hours and days, please contact the front desk staff.

**Social Committee Events**

Dining Around Downtown Club – The Elleven Dining Around Downtown Club meets at a different downtown restaurant at 7:30 on the second Wednesday of every month. This month the club will meet at Kai’s Table, located at 1091 S. Hope, Wednesday, July 21 at 7:30pm. Your host for the evening will be Mel Lewis. Please RSVP: Virginia Wexman at vwexman@uic.edu.

Elleven Lending Library – Management has received a few books for the lending library, and the bookcase has been placed just outside of the garage lobby doors for everyone to enjoy. The hope is that this Little Free Library will bring a little bit of joy, and new connections with your neighbors. If you are interested in donating books, please contact management to arrange a drop off time. We hope you can join the movement and share some books with your community.

FREE DVD Rentals for Elleven – Virginia Wexman has so graciously offered to loan DVDs to Elleven residents! Attached you will find a list of available DVDs. If any of these spark your interest, please contact Virginia Wexman at vwexman@uic.edu to place your request, she will then drop-off said DVD at the front desk for you to collect.

South Park BLOCK PARTY! – In celebration of restaurants newly opening or re-opening their doors, South Park is throwing a BLOCK PARTY for our neighbors! This event takes place July 3^rd from 12-8 PM on 11^th Street between Hope & Flower. There will be live music, games, festivities and of course food! Bring your friends, family and your dogs! SPBID Outdoor Live Music Series – SPBID will be hosting a series of casual outdoor performances every Friday from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at South Park Commons. All of the music will be low-key and family-friendly and will be shutting down long before bedtime. Social distancing will be expected and enforced by South Park BID.
