** Building Notice **

Exterior Window Cleaning – Exterior window & balcony railing(glass) cleaning is underway! Window cleaning for all units facing 11^th Street was finalized this week, and the team is at the halfway point for units facing Grand Avenue. The maintenance team will return on Monday 6/6 to continue cleaning. The project will continue to proceed clockwise each day from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, and is scheduled to be finalized by June 11.  Please note that this is a preliminary schedule and may change due to unforeseen circumstances. Residents will be notified via email and schedules will be posted on the residential bulletin boards.

Construction Projects in the Building – We have several submittals for in-unit construction throughout the building. You may hear noise related to these activities for the next few weeks. Construction is permitted Monday through Friday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Construction is not permitted on holidays and weekends. If you hear construction related noises outside of these hours and days, please contact the front desk staff.

**Social Committee Events**

Dining Around Downtown Club – The Elleven Dining Around Downtown Club meets at a different downtown restaurant at 7:30 pm on the third Wednesday of every month. This month the club will meet at Pez Cantina, located at 401 South Grand Avenue, Wednesday, June 22. Your host for the evening will be Michael Ibba and Beth Lazazzera. Bastille Day Get Together! – The Elleven Social Committee invites all Elleven residents to a Bastille Day Get Together on Thursday, July 14^th from 7:30 pm- 9:00 pm in the Elleven “Party” Room located in the lobby. Join your friends and neighbors and enjoy a night of French wine and snacks.

Elleven Lending Library – Management has received a few books for the lending library, and the bookcase has been placed just outside of the garage lobby doors for everyone to enjoy. The hope is that this Little Free Library will bring a little bit of joy, and new connections with your neighbors. If you are interested in donating books, please contact management to arrange a drop-off time. We hope you can join the movement and share some books with your community.

FREE DVD Rentals for Elleven – Virginia Wexman has so graciously offered to loan DVDs to Elleven residents! Attached you will find a list of available DVDs. If any of these spark your interest, please contact Virginia Wexman at vwexman@uic.edu to place your request, she will then drop off said DVD at the front desk for you to collect.

SPNA Second Sunday Movie Club – The South Park Neighborhood Association meets every second Sunday of the month to view and discuss a movie chosen as the best of its year, beginning in 1932. This month the club will meet in the Media Room at 1050 South Grand (corner of 11^th & Grand Ave.)on Sunday, June 12 at 7:30 pm, to view Trouble in Paradise directed by Ernst Lubitsch. The cost for this event will be $10.00 per person, payable in cash at the door. To be added to the attendee list please email vwexman@uic.edu, and you will be emailed a Punchbowl invitation.
