Greetings, Elleven Residents! Please take a moment to review the following building and community announcements. If applicable, please view attachments for additional information.
** Building Notice **
Nuisance & Noise Policy Reminder! – Management has noticed an increase in the number of noise complaints being reported. We would like to take this time to remind residents of Elleven’s Noise & Nuisance Policy. In accordance with the Association’s CC&R’s, no resident may cause or permit to be cause anything which may become a nuisance or cause unreasonable disturbance or annoyance to other residents. The Association has adopted the attached policy as a reasonable interpretation of that restriction. It is important to note that many residents are likely to keep different hours. We ask all residents to please be mindful of their neighbors especially during the evening and overnight hours.
Proposed Hotel Project 1130 S. Hope – Petition (PLEASE READ) – Management has received the attached email and documents from Luma’s Board President regarding the proposed hotel at 1130 S. Hope Street. This project is likely to have a direct and lasting impact on the residents of Elleven. For detailed information please review all attached documents. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact the General Manager Sheridan Thompson at sthompson@actionlife.com.
Construction Projects in the Building – We have several submittals for in unit construction throughout the building. You may hear noise related to these activities for the next few weeks. Construction is permitted Monday through Friday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Construction is not permitted on holidays and weekends. If you hear construction related noises outside of these hours and days, please contact the front desk staff.
** Community Alerts **
South Park BID Survey! – It only takes five minutes to help shape the future of your neighborhood! The South Park BID is in the middle of a strategic planning process, and wants to hear from you. Please click HERE! to take the survey before January 25, and don’t forget to share this link with your friends and neighbors.
Food Trucks – The food trucks continue outside of Evo, every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The food trucks will only be accepting online orders for pickup through the link provided and will not be accepting walkups. This will help prevent large crowds. ** Social Committee Events **
Elleven Lending Library – Management has
received a few books for the lending library, and the bookcase has been placed
just outside of the garage lobby doors for everyone to enjoy. The hope is that
this Little Free Library will bring a little bit of joy, and new connections
with your neighbors. If you are interested in donating books, please contact
management to arrange a drop off time. We hope you can join the movement and
share some books with your community.
FREE DVD Rentals for Elleven – Virginia Wexman has
so graciously offered to loan DVDs to Elleven residents! Attached you will find
a list of available DVDs. If any of these spark your interest, please contact
Virginia Wexman at vwexman@uic.edu
to place your request, she will then drop off said DVD at the front desk for
you to collect.

South Park COVID-19 Information & Resources – SPBID has added
information to the COVID-19 Updates and Resources page, including FREE
COVID-19 testing locations for all LA residents, and more resources for
people experiencing hardship as a result of the stay at home order, and a
section on how to help. For additional information, please click HERE!.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF A FIRE OR EARTHQUAKE?
Attend the Emergency Procedures Training to find out! Training will be held via ZOOM Wednesday, November 11 at 6:00 pm.
Safety training will include what to do in case of:
Earthquake
Fire
Power Outage
Bomb Threat
Medical Emergency

Elleven Homeowners Association is also required by the LAFD to conduct a fire drill annually pursuant to L.A.M.C. 57.33.19 and Title 19, C.A.C.
The Annual Fire Drill will take place on Wednesday, November 11 at 4:30 pm
If you are in the building when the fire drill is being conducted, it is MANDATORY that you participate. Non-participation in the fire drill may result in penalties from the fire department.
If you cannot participate in the fire drill due to physical limitations, please notify Management in advance so that arrangements can be made to assist you during the fire drill, and in an actual emergency. Construction Projects in the Building – We have several submittals for in unit construction throughout the building. You may hear noise related to these activities for the next few weeks. Dining Around Downtown Club – The club will meet at The Stanton DTLA, located at 1050 S Flower Street #167, Wednesday, October 16th. A hosted reception will start at 7:00 pm followed by the family-style dinner at 7:30pm. Your host for the evening will be Mel Lewis. All residents are encourage to attend. Please RSVP: Virginia Wexman at vwexman@uic.edu
Monthly Happy Hour – Take a break, enjoy a glass of wine and unwind with your friends and neighbors. Thursday, October 17th at 7:30 pm at Barcito located at 403 W. 12th Street (Evo). All residents are encouraged to attend!
Yoga In The Park @ South Park Commons – Start your week off right and join Yogis on the Move for a donation-based yoga class every Sunday from 4:00-5:00 pm. Please take your own mat, towel, and water.

Attention Residents,
Please be advised that the hot water to Elleven
will be shut off for necessary plumbing repairs on
Thursday, April 18th
From 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Please note that the time is approximate and we will notify all residents as soon as repairs are complete and the water is restored.
