** Building Notice **

Trash Chute Maintenance Rescheduled! – This maintenance has been rescheduled to take place Thursday, April 8th from 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Please note that ALL residential trash rooms will be CLOSED and trash chutes will be inaccessible for the duration of the cleaning.

2021 Annual Meeting Election Results – Elleven’s Annual Meeting of the Membership was successfully completed! Congratulations to Dennis Fried and Jeffrey Malin for being elected to Elleven’s Board of Directors for an additional three-year term. Elleven’s 2021 Board of Directors is: Dennis Fried, President Jeffrey Malin, Vice President Marty Goldberg, Treasurer Regina Cho, Secretary David Olivo, Director at Large

Construction Projects in the Building – We have several submittals for in unit construction throughout the building. You may hear noise related to these activities for the next few weeks. Construction is permitted Monday through Friday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Note: Construction is not permitted on weekends and holidays. If you hear construction related noises outside of these hours and days, please contact the front desk staff.

 ** Community Alerts **

SPBID Outdoor Live Music Series – SPBID will be hosting a series of casual outdoor performances, starting today March 26 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at South Park Commons. All of the music will be low key and family friendly, and they will be shutting down long before bedtime. Social distancing will be expected and enforced by South Park BID. Stop by and enjoy some live music, for additional information or view upcoming events click HERE!

The South Park Neighborhood Committee Newsletter – Due to recent events, a group of highly motivated residents in the South Park District have come together to form a Neighborhood Committee. The committee is in its early stages and hopes to engage all South Park residents to identify pressing concerns and to preserve and enhance South Park living. The group consists of residents and management from four of South Park’s residential buildings, Elleven, Evo, Luma and Ten50 totaling almost 900 units. Their mission is “to seek to utilize a united voice that has strength and influence for the mutual benefit of the South Park homeowners and residents.” They look forward to publishing a monthly newsletter; The March Edition of the South Park Neighborhood Committee Newsletter is attached.

Food Trucks – The food trucks continue outside of Evo, every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The food trucks will only be accepting online orders for pickup through the link provided and will not be accepting walkups. This will help prevent large crowds. Greetings, Elleven Residents! Please take a moment to review the following building and community announcements. If applicable, please view attachments for additional information.

** Building Notice **

Nuisance & Noise Policy Reminder! – Management has noticed an increase in the number of noise complaints being reported. We would like to take this time to remind residents of Elleven’s Noise & Nuisance Policy. In accordance with the Association’s CC&R’s, no resident may cause or permit to be cause anything which may become a nuisance or cause unreasonable disturbance or annoyance to other residents. The Association has adopted the attached policy as a reasonable interpretation of that restriction. It is important to note that many residents are likely to keep different hours. We ask all residents to please be mindful of their neighbors especially during the evening and overnight hours.

Proposed Hotel Project 1130 S. Hope – Petition (PLEASE READ) – Management has received the attached email and documents from Luma’s Board President regarding the proposed hotel at 1130 S. Hope Street. This project is likely to have a direct and lasting impact on the residents of Elleven. For detailed information please review all attached documents. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact the General Manager Sheridan Thompson at sthompson@actionlife.com.

South Park BID Survey! – It only takes five minutes to help shape the future of your neighborhood! The South Park BID is in the middle of a strategic planning process, and wants to hear from you. ** Social Committee Events **

Elleven Lending Library Management has received a few books for the lending library, and the bookcase has been placed just outside of the garage lobby doors for everyone to enjoy. The hope is that this Little Free Library will bring a little bit of joy, and new connections with your neighbors. If you are interested in donating books, please contact management to arrange a drop off time. We hope you can join the movement and share some books with your community.

FREE DVD Rentals for Elleven – Virginia Wexman has so graciously offered to loan DVDs to Elleven residents! Attached you will find a list of available DVDs. If any of these spark your interest, please contact Virginia Wexman at vwexman@uic.edu to place your request, she will then drop off said DVD at the front desk for you to collect.

Dining Around Downtown Club – The club will meet at The Stanton DTLA, located at 1050 S Flower Street #167, Wednesday, October 16th. A hosted reception will start at 7:00 pm followed by the family-style dinner at 7:30pm. Your host for the evening will be Mel Lewis. All residents are encourage to attend. Please RSVP: Virginia Wexman at vwexman@uic.edu

Monthly Happy Hour – Take a break, enjoy a glass of wine and unwind with your friends and neighbors. Thursday, October 17th at 7:30 pm at Barcito located at 403 W. 12th Street (Evo). All residents are encouraged to attend!

Yoga In The Park @ South Park Commons – Start your week off right and join Yogis on the Move for a donation-based yoga class every Sunday from 4:00-5:00 pm. Please take your own mat, towel, and water.

Building Wide Hot Water Shut Off 4/18/2019 10am-4pm
