Terrace, Pool & Spa Reminders!

 

Greetings Residents,

With summer approaching this is perhaps the best time to review the Elleven rules & regulations for the pool & terrace area. Please note: these rules & regulations can also be found on the terrace near the pool & barbecue pit areas (see below):

  • Pool and Spa hours are Sunday to Thursday, 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday to Saturday, 5 a.m. to 12 a.m.
  • Noise levels must be kept to a minimum so as to not disturb other residents. Radios or music players must be battery operated and headsets must be worn.
  • The maximum number of guests a resident may have is 10 including the registered resident(s).
  • Glass containers are not permitted on the pool or spa deck area at any time.
  • Pets are not permitted at the Pool and Spa area at any time.

Association staff and community patrol personnel enforce The Association’s rules & regulations while monitoring the pool and terrace area.

We want all of residents, guests and surrounding neighbors to have a pleasant experience during the upcoming summer season and we sincerely appreciate your cooperation.

Greetings Elleven Owners,

The Elleven HOA Annual Owners Meeting will be held

Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 6:30 pm.

WE NEED YOUR VOTE!

In order to hold the Annual Meeting and Election we must have quorum of 25% of the voting power represented at the meeting. Representation may be by attendance, by the return of a ballot, or by proxy.

If you have not done so already, please mail in your ballot as soon as possible.

Elleven - Building & Community Announcements 3/30/2018

** Building Notice **

Exterior Window CleaningIt’s that time of the year again! Exterior window & balcony railing cleaning is scheduled to begin Monday, April 9th, and will continue for approximately three weeks, wrapping up the week of April 27th. The project will begin on the north end of the building and progress clockwise each day beginning at 8:00am until 5:00pm. Please note that the completion date is an approximate time and may change due to unforeseen circumstances. Residents will be notified via email and schedules will be posted in the residential bulletin boards.

Dining Around Downtown – The club will meet at BREVA, at Hotel Figueroa located at 939 S. Figueroa Street, Wednesday, April 11th, at 7:30 pm. Your lovely host for the evening will be Debra Shrout! All residents are encourage to attend. Please RSVP: Virginia Wexman at vwexman@uic.edu.

Elleven Happy Hour – Take a break, enjoy a glass of wine and unwind with your neighbors. Thursday, April 19th at 7:30 pm at Bottle Rock Downtown Los Angeles. All residents are encourage to attend.** Community Alerts **

** Building Notice **

Trash Chute Reminder!  – Heavy objects, including large boxes or bottles, should not be put down the trash chute. Instead, these objects should be taken to the ground level trash room located in the garage. Special arrangements need to be made for the disposal of objects of unusual size or weight. ALL waste placed in the trash chute should be secured in leak proof plastic bags, kitty litter should be double bagged.

Bags should be limited in size to 15” x 18”.

Elleven Movie Club – All residents are invited to the screening of City of Gold on Tuesday, February 27th at 7:30pm. Please RSVP via vwexman@uic.edu or (213) 493-4051.

Dining Around Downtown – This month the club will meet at PRANK, located at the corner of 11th and Hope Street, Wednesday, March 14, at 7:30 pm. All residents are encourage to attend. Please RSVP: Virginia Wexman at vwexman@uic.edu.

Heart of the City 5K Run/Walk – California Hospital Medical Center is hosting their HEART OF THE CITY 5K run/walk Saturday, March 24 from 7:00 am- 12:00pm. This event will directly impact Elleven! Residents will have limited access when entering the garage area during the noted event time. For additional details: www.heartofthecity5k.org

Electric Billing Delays Update!

Attention Elleven Homeowners,

In August we informed all members that the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) had difficulty reading our electric meters which caused a 30-day delay in billing. In September LADWP corrected the issue, however Management was advised that all billing would once again be delayed.  To date, Management has still not received billing from LADWP. During this time, Management has been communicating with DWP weekly, and in an effort to increase the urgency of the matter we have reached out to other sources for additional support.  DWP has informed us that they received electric reads for August, September and October. However, they (DWP) are unable to release the reads until they are thoroughly reviewed and released by a senior supervisor. Pending Electric bills are August-December 2017 and January 2018.

We will continue to keep owners informed of the process.
